Gateway Furniture Bank

WHAT WE ARE

We are a volunteer based Furniture Bank focused on helping to furnish units our clients move into with generous community donations provided to us. Since the closing of the previous Furniture Bank, our team noticed a gap in services for not only furnishing units but also saving valuable furniture items from the landfill.

WHAT WE DO

Gateway Furniture Bank runs on donations by generous community members such as:

  • Those looking to downsize their homes
  • Seniors moving into retirement residences
  • Local hotels renovating
  • Members of the community

We pick up and store these items in our storage facilities until we are able to match the item(s) with a client in need. Once a client is identified our team will arrange a delivery date to match the client with their new furnishings!

WHO WE SERVE

We believe in enabling individuals with mental health and addictions to achieve the highest quality of life possible – and we do just that by making their units feel like home!

*At this time Gateway Furniture Bank only supports clients of Gateway

What Our Clients Say

  • "Gateway supported me to move out of my previous home and into their group home on Griffith, after I had just attempted suicide. They help me learn how to cook and clean. They taught me independence."
